Weekend Fun

This past weekend, the family went on a little outing. I was excited for the get-away, but dreading it as well...how much fun am I going to have hauling everything under the sun around for an almost-10 month old baby boy?!?! Surprisingly, the weekend was a success and the hubby can not rest assured, that we may actually be able to do more stuff than sit at home at stare at each other (as good looking as we both are, it does indeed get old!)...

We went to San Diego and visited some family friends, the Feeken's. Rachel & Alex were both competing in a gymnastics meet so we went and watched both girls. We also ate lots of yummy food! In case you are ever in need of a good dessert idea, Chili's has the BEST chocolate chip molten cake - it would be in everyone's best interest to try it!!!

We also were able to go to La Jolla beach and see some sea lions and some other sightseeing. All-in-all a great weekend!!!

1st timer!

So, I've been reading some of my friends' blogs for a while and thought, why not try it for myself. Plus, it would give my family and friends from a distance a way to hear what is going on with our lives on a more frequent basis...

So....work with me as I figure out how all this blogging stuff works!!! I am not very creative, but do take oh so many pictures!! This is just a short intro to me and I will work on a real "blog" as the day goes on!!
